Robyn first experienced Pilates as a young ballet dancer with a back injury in London in 1982, at one of the first studios in the "Pineapple Dance Centre" in Covent Garden.
Then in 1990 when working on the ballet staff of The Australian Ballet she commenced Pilates based exercise with Andrew Baxter at his newly opened studio at The Australian Ballet Centre.
Following 4 years of personal practise with Andrew, Robyn commenced an apprenticeship with him in his studio in South Melbourne. Robyn joined the APMA in its inaugural year and completed the APMA instructor course with Paul Cini when it was available.
Robyn has been teaching Pilates for the past 20 years, at studios including The Australian Ballet Centre and Inbalance in Ivanhoe.
Robyn is currently teaching here at Body Centre Pilates and from her home in the Macedon Ranges.
